🥪 What is Sandwich Parenting?

Sandwich parenting (also called the “sandwich generation”) is when adults are simultaneously caring for their children and their aging parents, often while managing a full-time career.

It’s a balancing act that can feel like you’re being pulled in multiple directions at once:

👶 Supporting kids’ growth and daily needs

👵 Assisting parents with health, finances, or caregiving

 💼 Maintaining performance at work

🧠 Trying to protect your own well-being in the process

Here’s the reality: you’re not alone.

📊 Nearly 1 in 4 adults in the U.S. are part of the sandwich generation, juggling these dual responsibilities. -Pew Research Center

This role can be deeply meaningful—but also emotionally and physically demanding. The key is building systems of support, setting boundaries, and giving yourself permission to not do it all perfectly.

💬 If this resonates with you, let’s connect and talk about strategies to help you thrive, not just survive, in this season.
